Experiência Profissional Anterior

Durante os meses compreendidos entre Julho 2013 e Novembro de 2013 tive a sorte e prazer em colaborar com a Centro de Informática do Instituto Superior de Agronomia. Onde conseguimos criar um excelente protótipo funcional Projecto “ISA Security Watcher” que entrou em produção.

  • Projecto “ISA Information System” – Software and Development Engineer: Julho 2013 – Novembro de 2013
    • Principais actividades e responsabilidades (em constante evolução):
      • Participação na discussão da melhor arquitectura a escolher para adoptar no projecto.
      • Participação nas reuniões com Stackeholders do Sistema
      • Levantamento de Requisitos Funcionais e Não funcionais para o desenvolvimento de módulos.
      • Realização de Documentação em Word e Excel.
        • Realização de relatórios técnicos sobre a evolução do Projecto.
      • Integração de Módulos desenvolvidos em Sistemas existentes.

De Agosto de 2011 a Maio de 1013 participei num projecto realizado no “CITI – Center of Informatics and Information Technology” do Departamento de Informática da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologias da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Abaixo descrevo sucintamente este projecto, e quais as minhas responsabilidades no mesmo.

  • Projecto “ISTRION” – Research and Development Engineer: Agosto de 2011- Maio 2013.
    • Principais actividades e responsabilidades:
      • Levantamento de Requisitos Funcionais e Não funcionais para o desenvolvimento de módulos.
      • Desenvolver Software (Aplicações Web) em Javascript (plataforma Sencha ExtJS 4) e php.
      • Testes de Software em ambiente Windows e Linux.
      • Realização de Documentação em Word e Excel.
      • Investigação de Soluções Inovadoras para novos problemas.
      • Integração de Módulos desenvolvidos em Sistemas existentes.
      • Manutenção de Sistemas existentes em Java.

De Fevereiro de 2008 até à Julho de 2011, desenvolvi a minha actividade profissional no âmbito de Investigação Cientifica, no grupoCA3 – Computational Intelligence Research Group – UNINOVA / CTS. Trata-se de um Centro de Investigação Científica que trabalha na área de Tecnologias de Informação e Desenvolvimento de Software.

Assim, a minha contribuição no CA3 foi a seguinte:

  • Projecto “BRAINMAP”– Research Engineer e Tecnhology Manager: Dezembro 2010 – Julho de 2011
    • Principais actividades e responsabilidades:
      • Desenvolver Software em Java (5 protótipos funcionais), utilização plataforma de desenvolvimento Eclipse e Netbeans;
      • Base de Dados MySQl, XML.
      • Realização de Documentação em Word e Excel
  • Projecto “SEISOP – Space Environment Information System for Operations”– Research Engineer:Setembro 2008 – Dezembro 2010
    • Principais actividades e responsabilidades:
      • Desenvolver Software em Java, utilização plataforma de desenvolvimentos eclipse;
      • Estudos de desenvolvimento em eclipse RCP;
      • Implementação de web services.
      • Desenvolver Software em .NET, especificamente Vb.net e C#.net.
      • Realização de Documentação em Word e Excel
  • Projecto “CERTAIN – CryoSat Event Reporting Tool for Analysis and Investigation”– Research Engineer:Fevereiro 2008 – Novembro 2008
    • Principais actividades e responsabilidades:
      • Desenvolver Software em Java (inluindo componentes gráficas Swing)
      • Refactorização de Código existente, modularizando os vários componentes.
      • Manuseamento de Base de Dados em MySql a nível de Administração e de utilização.
      • Realização de Documentação em Word e Excel

Educação e Formação

  • Obtenção do Grau de Mestre em Engenharia Informática (2008-2010)
    • Obtido na Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, com uma média final de 14 Valores.
      • Dissertação entitulada “Extracção Automática de Tópicos de Documentos” com uma nota de 16 Valores.
      • Permitiu a obtenção de uma formação mais sólida e especializada, tendo como base a formação em Engenharia Informática previamente obtida na Licenciatura.
      • Propicia uma estrutura curricular mais completa e flexível E uma preparação mais forte para liderar projectos.
  • Obtenção do Grau de Licenciado em Engenharia Informática (2000-2008)
    • Obtido na Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, com uma média final de 12 Valores.

      • Lidar com sistemas complexos(componentes e integração, componente social);

    Ao longo dos anos académicos, tive o previlégio de participar na organização de alguns eventos, uns como organizador noutros como voluntário. Tive também a consciência de trabalhar em prol de um melhor curso de Eng. Informática dando a minha opinião e argumentos participando nas comissões pedagógicas do curso, e também da faculdade.     Below I briefly describe the project, and what my responsibilities were in the proejct

        • Development of Software (Web Applications) in JavaScript (EXT Js 4) and php.
        • Software testing in Windows an Linux environments
        • Documentation in Word and Excel.
        • Research on Innovative Solutions to face new problems.
        • Integration of modules developed in existing systems.
        • Maintenance of existing Java systems.

    From February 2008 until July 2011, I developed my professional activity in Scientific Research, in the CA3 – Computational Intelligence Research Group – UNINOVA / CTS. It is a Scientific Research Center working in the field of Information Technology and Software Development.

    So my contribution in the CA3 was as follows:

      Personal skills and Aptitudes

      Throughout the academic years, I had the privilege to participate in the organization of some events, some as a volunteer others as an organizer. I was also aware of my civil responsibilities and therefore to help to get a better course Computer Engineering, giving my opinion and arguments by participating in pedagogical committees of the course, and also in the faculty pedagogical council.
